Other than The Companion, and working with Lawrence on a bunch of projects for the BBC, MTV, Nat Geo, and others, some of my biggest influences have been working for Google on YouTube.
Back in the day, YouTube had no channels, the front page was basically all Let's Play video gamers, and there were tons of viral videos, kind of like what we find on Tik Tok these days.
That experence allowed me to travel the world visiting Vidcon in California, Summer in the City in London, Buffer Festival in Vancouver, and much more. I've created deep friendships and bonds with YouTube creators, their teams, and their extended friends and family. I'm all about the power of the creator.
